GOD IS ALIVE! The first day of our international conference already is bringing breakthroughs for the church.

Thursday and Friday saw many people arriving for the conference locally, from our fellowships, and many other places. It was an opportunity to catch up, meet new brothers and sisters, and be a blessing.

Friday morning we were blessed by our brothers and sisters from the North Carolina Fellowship leading the worship.

We had some very powerful and inspiring workshops on overcoming, whether it be how we manage time, marriage obstacles, addictions, and more. Everyone who attended the workshops commented on how touched they were that they did not feel alone.

The evening service was a powerful time of praise and worship, with many testimonies about how people got saved and what God is allowing them to do now in ministry. Pastor Paine preached a message about being MORE than conquerors, from Romans 8:29-39:

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

He made some key points, such as...

  • Each of us are the called.
  • The victory is worth it.
  • Nothing else compares to going to Heaven.
  • Nothing can separate us except ourselves.
  • Jesus would not have shed his blood if it couldn't do the job.
  • God's love will always sustain us if we want it.
  • God loves us in spite of ourselves.
  • We are more than conquerors, not because of us, but because God is strong enough.
  • Some sin God just takes from us, others we have to work through.

We had more great fellowship even after the service ended, and God is just beginning with what he has planned for this weekend here and throughout the ministry.

Exodus 19:5 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

  • We are treasured by God.
  • No failure can be an excuse for not living for God.

Today was very powerful, emphasizing on how we must be surrendered to be an overcomer.

In the service, many people shared about where they have been in the ministry and what God has allowed us all to do. Being a light is not about scheduling time to minister, it's who we are. We are called all around the world. Each of us are here today in the ministry because someone showed God's light to us through their life.

God is mighty to save, and we must be mighty to shine the His light through us. Just as Christ was risen to life, we have to raise also, to bring that life to others and let the whole world see.

So let God meet you where you are, so you can stand up and give Him glory with your life. Let Him take any darkness and turn it into light, and then shine that light!
